Paris, August 21, 2017 — Brandimage, a leading global consultancy of brand equity architects and designers, announced the launch of the new identity system the agency created for MMA, the French insurance brand.
Repositioning the MMA insurance brand towards their professional and individual targets, Brandimage developed a new visual vocabulary that is modern and flexible, guaranteeing coherence and flexibility in the overall means of expression of MMA – resulting in a new way to make the brand part of people’s everyday life.
The French multi specialist insurance brand MMA has been strengthening its positioning beside professionals and companies with a new signature « Insurance entrepreneurs », since 2015, while preserving their position with individual clients.
An identity system as an extension of its DNA
Brandimage’s goal was to develop a graphic territory that would give the brand more freedom, illustrating and highlighting its change of activity, its transversal approach and its values: trust, engagement, and optimism.
The iconography becomes a central element of the brand’s new visual style: Immersive visuals that embody moments of real life, discussion or action, always with a bright tone of colors. The circle acts as the graphic key symbol, inseparable from the visual system. With a strong yet subtler visualization, it is always present in the images to support the brand’s message.
A differentiating style
A pallet composed of bright and shaded colors have been defined, for a more harmonious experience of MMA’s identity. A pictographic vocabulary has been created to enrich and prioritize the messages, in order to be easily understandable.
A goal of coherence
Brandimage has designed a graphic territory, which adapts to all media, whether they are in print, web, corporate or commercial, in order to guarantee a visual consistency on the overall client journey.
An organized deployment
Because the implementation of the new territory first relies on those that work on everyday projects, MMA and Brandimage have put practical devices in place which will allow the appropriation of the new system with ease: the identity cookbook and online graphic guidelines assemble the necessary rules and tools in how to apply the new system, in addition to a video designed to explain how to use the visual language, in an educational approach.
