Jing Guang food company have produced a new powder milk shake and protein bar products call 颜型一致 (Yan Xing Yi Zi). The task is to design a trendy look that brings the meaning of the brand name to life.
The Korean market has taken the lead in the meal replacement category in the past two years with body management products that looks trendy and fashionable. The challenge is to come out with a design that breakthrough typical health products and potentially become a ‘网红’（KOL product) as this will be the key driver to attach trend conscious consumers.
We use beauty products design methods to design for 颜型一致 (Yan Xing Yi Zhi). Since the brand name of 颜型一致 means having good looks and shapely body figure, we took the brand meaning to the next level by transforming it into a sexy bespoke product. Instead of using fancy design elements and pictorials, we made the design simple by going back to the basics of colors and materials. We use bright colors on the milk shake bottles and laser papers for the protein bars. We keep category information neat and easy to read. The outcome is a premium and sexy look that breakthroughs the typical look of a meal replacement product in the market.
